The Senior Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physicist (Senior DIMP) is responsible for fulfilling all of the duties of the Radiation Protection Officer for the Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) as per the Radiation Management Plan. The Senior DIMP will manage medical physics related activities in Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging and has a leading role in research and development of new techniques and technologies, the education and training of patients, staff and the general public, and ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved in the duties in which they are involved.
