SA EPA is currently advertising a position for a Radiation Protection Officer . Long Term Contract Up to 2 years| $83,152 - $92,020

The EPA protects the health and safety of people and the environment from harmful effects of radiation. As a Radiation Protection Officer, you will work as part of a team of specialists in the regulation of the mining and industrial industries that use radiation. You will apply your radiation knowledge acquired from the mining and industrial sectors, and your high level communication skills to establish effective working relationships and provide authoritative advice to industry, government and community. You will take a risk-based approach to enable radiation activities to be undertaken safely and in accordance with the South Australia Legislation and National and International Standards.
