There are a few essential requirements that we are seeking.

You need to have demonstrated experience in dealing with NORM material in the mining, energy, or similar industries with a strong understanding of occupational hygiene management of such material.

You must have a good knowledge of both Federal and State radiation safety legislation, codes of practice, standards, and guidelines, including the management of naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM), disused sealed radioactive sources (DSRS), and the management of packaging, transport and/or storage of radioactive materials.

You must also show through your passion, to have the ability to be solutions-focused with a proactive can-do attitude, be able to work across all levels of the business in a consultative, respectful, and team-based approach.

If you are currently licensed to fulfill the statutory requirements noted for the role, this would be an advantage. If not, you must have the ability to be approved by a Radiation Regulator for the purposes of management of Sealed sources and Unsealed (NORM) sources and be trained as Surface Ventilation Technician (SVT)
