The SA Branch would like to invite all national ARPS members to a two day symposium on Monday 31st October and Tuesday 1stNovember, to be held at the Terrace Hotel in Adelaide.
The program will include the ARPS National AGM on the Monday afternoon.
Following the format of the previous event in 2020, the symposium will include both short presentations (10 minute time limit) and panel discussions. Any time gained in the schedule will be added onto the lunch break or drinks session at the end of the day.
Interstate visitors are welcome, and the committee would like to extend the invitation to non-ARPS members working in relevant fields (e.g. medical physics, NORM industries etc) to attend and to submit papers.
Details of registration processes and costs will follow shortly. As an indication, full registration for the 2020 Symposium was less than $200 for a two day event with discounted fees for retired members and students (some costs have increased this year but the intention is to keep fees as low as possible).
The last event had a very strong technical program, with many students and first time presenters delivering quality presentations – we hope to see the same this year.
If you would like further information, please don’t hesitate to contact the branch on sabranch@arps.org.au.
