    Hi Paula,

I didn't but there could be a delay or maybe because I'm the admin. Do you get a email?

    Matt.

Another, more recent, semi-fun-social networking and mutual assistance group was / has been the (in)famous ALARM (Australian Ladies Active in Radiation & Mining) group set up by Kathryn Taylor. This began as a monthly friday arvo 'drinkies' session at the Historian pub in Adelaide, started by Phil Crouch, to provide support for a couple of girls working as enviro and radiation officers at Honeymoon, during its 'pre-Boss' resurrection.

ALARM grew until there were 'covens' in most states. Us menfolk were allowed in as 'Associates', and our formally designated role was to buy the first round.. and not hog the conversation.. For a while in the 2010's, ALARM was a highly effective 'phone-a-friend' technical support for mining industry RSOs throughout Oz, both female and male.. Altho its membership has dispersed / diffused into various other areas / fields, it still represents a valuable 'bank' of personal experience and knowledge...
