Reporting to the Director, Radiation Health Unit, you will perform an integral application and registration review, quality assurance and investigations support role to assist the Radiation Health Unit in meeting compliance with the provisions of the Radiation Safety Act 1999 and other relevant legislation and regulation.

- Perform radiation source registration and data quality assurance checks, and rectify issues identified
- Assess standard registration applications to acquire or relocate radiation sources, and prepare and escalate complex applications for senior staff to consider
- Track and monitor inter-jurisdictional movements of radiation sources and generate high quality radiation health reports
- Assist Public Health Inspectors with written notifications, data or advice to support Radiation Safety Act 1999 compliance or enforcement activities.
