About the Opportunity
The Nuclear Forensic Specialist uses transferable skills and experience to play a key role in the delivery of projects within the Nuclear Forensics capability area of Nuclear Stewardship, coordinating and leading teams of subject matter experts to deliver tangible outcomes for stakeholders.
The position communicates nuclear forensic capabilities to national, regional and international stakeholders and implements sustainable approaches for the provision of trusted advice and specialised services that meet customer requirements. This position requires an agile mindset, a meticulous approach to work, high levels of discretion, and an ability to lead teams to deliver outcomes.
Prior experience in disciplines related to forensic science, training and development, radiation protection, emergency response or radiation handling facilities is an advantage.

Your Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply project management oversight to deliver on Nuclear Forensics projects and capability requirements consistent with strategic plans and goals through the utilisation of knowledge, skills, experience and judgement.
- Maintain high awareness of domestic and global nuclear security issues, rapidly assimilating and utilising new information.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders internal and external to ANSTO, utilising outstanding communications skills to achieve engagement in projects.
